Families / School Readiness and Support

Backpack Adventures

Summer Family Literacy School Readiness program for children starting school in September. Families will discover new information and activities to support their child’s journey into school. Seasonal program.

Family Math

A spring program for children 3 to 5 years old that teaches ways of learning math every day as a family and prepares children for school entry. 4–6 week sessions.

After School Program

Promoting free, healthy lifestyle choices through physical activity, homework assistance, information about healthy eating and self-care. Students grades 4 to 6. Weekly on Mondays to Wednesdays from 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Van Lang Field House, 29 Van Lang Prvt. In person and online.

After the Bell

A safe environment for students in grades 1-6 to get help to do their homework, develop their self-esteem, critical thinking, problem solving, leadership, and teamwork skill. Weekly on Thursdays and Fridays from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Van Lang Field House, 29 Van Lang Pvt. In person and online.
