Families / Annavale Headstart Nursery School

Annavale Headstart Nursery School is a subsidized full-day preschool program for children aged two until eligibility for Junior Kindergarten entry, located in W.E. Gowling School.

The Annavale program helps your child learn and grow while they have fun! A great way to help your child get ready for school! Children must be minimum age of 2, and parents must be eligible for full subsidy from the City of Ottawa.

The Annavale Nursery School is licensed under the Ministry of Education, and is part of the Ottawa Carleton Headstart Association of Preschools (OCHAP).

The program takes place between 8:30 to 3:30 p.m. on weekdays, and provides a healthy lunch and snacks, games, toys, crafts, transportation to and from the program for families in the Carlington area, and speech and language assessment.

This program is funded by The City of Ottawa and Carlington Community Health Centre.
